The university libraries focus on developing student’s global knowledge of the socio-economic field by continually and extensively enriching their collections. The virtual library was established in 2002 and since then it has been one of the focus points of the development process.

Students have access to hundreds of data bases of economic information, catalogues of web addresses specific to their economic fields – mirrored by references to other national and international libraries, universities and economic institutes, as well as virtual references. In addition to the growing number of volumes and economic journals present in the libraries, ASE is not losing sight of its heritage books and of their continual restoration and preservation.

ASE libraries are located in Piaţa Romană and in the Moxa Campus. The library is open from Monday to Saturday, between 8:30 and 20:30, offering access to paper and digital resources.

The virtual library allows access to more than 155.000 books, 263 ancient books, more than 1000 full-text articles issued in ASE publications, more than 7000 PhD theses, as well as national and international data bases and publications.

The most requested publications are on free access in the library rooms (they are classified according to the Dewey system). Due to the large number of publications, for some of them the access is indirect, through the librarian.

The library resources are available on their website: : www.biblioteca.ase.ro

For acquiring books and other useful material, ASE bookshop is located in the “Virgil Madgearu” building in Calea Dorobantilor 15-17, ground floor (open Mon-Thu: 8.00-15.30 and Fri: 8.00-13.00). Online book shopping is also available using the following link: www.editura.ase.ro.
